This tour takes you to the two famous Gorilla trekking national parks of Bwindi Impenetrable forest and the Volcanoes National Park. This safari package will surely answer the question that most tourists inquire about-‘which park would be better for gorilla trekking?’ Our explanation for this is that each trek in any of these national parks is a different paranormal experience that one will always cherish. However , the terrains of the two national parks are quite different and you need to be more fit if you are to trek gorillas in Bwindi National park because the terrain is steeper. But this does not guarantee that the gorilla trek in Rwanda will be easier because the time taken to track the gorillas is unpredictable given the fact that it depends on the movements of the Mountain gorillas in their natural habitats as they search for food.
Day 1 to Bwindi Impentrable Forest National Park
Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel in Kampala and drive west to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Have a journey break at the Equator and take some photos. Then continue to Mbarara town where you will stop for lunch prior to heading through the grasslands of Ankole. If you are trekking in the southern park of Bwindi where Nkuringo and Nshongi Families of gorillas are located, you will have a lunch stop in Kabale before you proceed to Kisoro . Along the road you will enjoy the beauty of the wonderful long horned cattle before going on to the highlands of Kigezi referred to as the ‘Switzerland of Africa! You will arrive in Bwindi in the evening; freshen up as you wait for dinner and over night.
Day 2 Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
gorilla trekking in Bwindi Take a heart breakfast after which a ranger then move to the ranger station for briefing from ranger guides who will guide you through the impenetrable forest. Tracking the Gorillas through the thick forest is awe-Inspiring experience! In case you are lucky you can get to see the gorillas, spend 1 hour with them, and be back at the lodge in time for dinner. Remember to carry packed lunch, enough water as this activity is so tiring, its also important to wear good hiking boots of an ankle level and long trousers for protection against stinging nettles. Some times the slope may be steep so you must carry Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 3 to Rwanda
Take breakfast and depart for Rwanda . You will cross the boarder via Kisoro or Kabale then clear at the boarder – Rwanda is 1 hour behind Uganda . Located in the far northwest of Rwanda, the Parc des Volcans is home to the steep slopes of this wonderful mountain range – home of the rare mountain gorilla – and the rich mosaic of montane ecosystems, which cuddles evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp and heath. Dinner and over night at Budget accommodation in Muhabura Lodge / Kinigi guest house.

Day 4 Gorilla tracking in Rwanda
